De Havilland Canada is seeking a Line Logistics / Planning Manager to oversee production planning, asset readiness and ERP work orders across manufacturing. Qualifications

  • Ten years of experience in manufacturing line logistics/planning.
  • Five years of management or leadership in the Manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project in Windows.
  • Experience using MRP/ERP systems.
  • Ability to foster a sense of teamwork and excellence in the workplace.
  • Leadership and communication skills.
  • Interpersonal skills to work with multiple departments.
  • Ethical behavior, accountability & teamwork.
  • Proactive, results-oriented with continuous improvement.
  • Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Develop strategies to align production and planning goals with company objectives.
  • Create and maintain a master schedule for all manufacturing and production activities.
  • Coordinate and oversee planning of company-owned assets for production readiness.
  • Manage the planning function to create detailed work packages for production teams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to mitigate risks in production planning.
  • Support engineering during development of new modifications and planning.
  • Maintain ERP work orders architecture supporting stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with supply chain to ensure materials availability.
  • Lead and mentor the planning team, including performance reviews.
  • Monitor planning operations with metrics for continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with policies and implement process improvements.
  • Develop and maintain an efficient planning framework.
  • Identify performance issues and implement improvement plans.
