Job summary

Perimeter Aviation LP seeks a Crew Chief - Heavy Maintenance to supervise and certify maintenance tasks, ensuring quality and timely completion by the crew. Reporting to the Production Manager, the role requires leadership, strong safety awareness, and adherence to aviation regulations in a Winnipeg hangar environment.

Qualifications

• Must hold Transport Canada AME license with M1 and/or M2 rating.
• Minimum five years’ experience in M1 with supervisory experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain security clearances.
• Working knowledge of Canadian Aviation Regulations.

Responsibilities

• Quality control of the work performed, and the timely completion of work (ref: AWM 573.207) by personnel on their crews.
• Identify and report abnormal occurrences as defined by CAR 625 Appendix G (all maintenance shall be performed using the methods, techniques, practices, parts, materials, tools, equipment, and test apparatus specified by the manufacturer of the aeronautical product)
• Review scheduled and unscheduled maintenance required and assign tasks to personnel on their crew
• Ensure that dispatch procedures, as per the applicable MCM are followed with respect to maintenance activities
• Assist and step in for department as required
• Perform additional duties as assigned
