Job summary

Perimeter Aviation LP in Winnipeg is seeking an Aircraft Certification Authority (ACA) to service, inspect, certify and repair aircraft to airworthy standards. Reporting to Crew Chief and Maintenance Manager, you will supervise apprentice mechanics and certify work with maintenance releases.

The role requires a valid AME license (M1 and/or M2) and a high school diploma, along with the ability to obtain security clearances. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Valid AME license with M1 and/or M2 rating.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain applicable security clearances.
• Familiarity with maintenance policy and MEL is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Shall perform duties as assigned by Crew Chief or Management.
• Ensure maintenance, repair and modification on aircraft with proper certification.
• Complete and certify logs, worksheets and task cards for work done.
• Supervise and certify apprentice mechanics under their direction.
• Maintain stock control procedures and proper use of tooling.
• Attend required training courses and comply with safety policies.
