Job summary

Mecka AI, based in Toronto, is seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to build and ship production web applications powering our global operations. You will own features end-to-end across frontend, backend, and integrations, leveraging modern AI tools to move faster, debug efficiently, and expand impact.

You will work with operators, data teams, and senior engineers to translate operational requirements into reliable software, delivering scalable web applications with React/TypeScript on

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of professional experience building and maintaining full-stack web applications in production environments.
• Solid Frontend Skills: JavaScript / TypeScript, React, and modern web frameworks.
• Solid Backend Skills: REST/GraphQL APIs with Node.js and/or Python.
• Database & Data Basics: PostgreSQL and ORMs.
• AI Tooling as a Force Multiplier: Daily use of AI development tools to prototype faster and debug code.
• End-to-End Execution: Ability to ship features across the stack independently.

Responsibilities

• End-to-End Delivery: Take features from design and implementation through testing and deployment.
• Production Support: Monitor, debug, and improve performance and reliability in production.
• Collaborate with operators, data teams, and senior engineers to turn requirements into reliable software.
