Job summary

Precisely is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead AI-first, full-stack development for our Master Data Management (MDM) product line. You will design and deliver enterprise-grade applications spanning frontend and backend, work across integrations, workflows, and analytics, and mentor junior engineers while guiding architectural decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field (equivalent work experience accepted)
• 4+ years of software development experience
• 4+ years with the required skills (React/Angular/Java) and system design leadership
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and React/Angular frameworks
• Strong proficiency in Java and OO design principles
• Experience designing REST APIs and microservices architectures
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and distributed systems
• Familiarity with test-driven development and code quality gates
• Mentoring junior engineers and influencing technical direction
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices

Responsibilities

• Develop full stack applications using Java (backend) and modern JavaScript frameworks (Angular/React)
• Build responsive UI components and integrate with backend services and APIs
• Design and implement REST APIs and service integrations for MDM workflows
• Own and drive data models and application architecture decisions for MDM platforms
• Deliver features end-to-end including development, testing, and deployment
• Lead debugging and root-cause analysis of complex defects across frontend and backend
• Use AI tools for coding, debugging, and productivity
• Evaluate AI-generated outputs for correctness and performance
• Apply AI to accelerate development workflows, testing, and documentation
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality
• Drive performance, scalability, and reliability improvements
• Follow clean code practices and maintainable design
• Lead code reviews and participate in Agile ceremonies
• Collaborate with Product, UX, QA, and Platform teams
• Continuously learn and evaluate new technologies, especially AI/agentic workflows
