WiseMatic Inc. is seeking a Senior AI Developer to lead the design and delivery of AI features for clients. You will architect production AI systems, build ML models, and ensure responsible AI practices.

The role blends software engineering with practical AI judgement and mentorship within a senior team. Hybrid work from our Toronto office, with health and dental benefits and a yearly learning budget. You will work across North America on AI, SaaS, AR/VR and game projects, shaping how WiseMatic

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, with 2+ years building AI/ML or LLM-powered products in production.
• Strong Python and experience with TypeScript/Node.js.
• Hands-on experience with LLM APIs, embeddings, vector databases and prompt engineering.
• Solid understanding of ML fundamentals, evaluation and data privacy.
• Experience deploying on AWS, Azure or Google Cloud.
• Legally entitled to work in Canada.

Responsabilités

• Architect and build production AI systems using large language models, RAG and agent frameworks.
• Develop, evaluate and deploy machine learning models with measurable quality metrics.
• Design evaluation pipelines, guardrails and human-review flows to keep AI accurate and safe.
• Integrate AI into web and SaaS products through secure, well-documented APIs.
• Advise clients on use cases, feasibility, cost and risk.
• Mentor developers and set best practices for AI engineering at WiseMatic.
