Job summary

CrowdStrike Inc. is seeking a Senior Engineer - Automation to lead the design and implementation of scalable automation workflows for Falcon Complete MDR. You will mentor team members, advance AI-powered security operations, and partner with analysts and engineering stakeholders to deliver high-impact automation.

The role emphasizes asynchronous collaboration, mentoring, and robust automation development across security tools, with a focus on reliability and rapid iteration.

Qualifications

• 6-10 years of automation engineering or cybersecurity experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in CS, cybersecurity, or engineering.
• Proficiency in at least one of Golang, Python, JavaScript, C++, or Java.
• Experience with AI/LLMs and agentic development systems.
• Experience building enterprise-grade web services or data pipelines.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Operational knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, PostgreSQL and Kafka.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end design and implementation of new automation features.
• Architect deterministic and agentic automation pipelines across tools.
• Analyze complex factors to design scalable automation solutions.
• Collaborate with Falcon Complete analysts, stakeholders, and partners.
• Ensure reliability, scalability and maintainability of services.
• Participate in OnCall rotation for 24/7 operations.
• Mentor engineers, review designs, and set technical standards.
• Write automation to reduce operational load and increase velocity.
