Job summary

Google is seeking a Senior Developer Relations Specialist for AI Data Cloud in Toronto. You will engage with developers, create technical assets, and drive adoption of Google Cloud data and analytics products.

You will write code samples, mentor junior team members, present at events, and collaborate with product and engineering teams to relay feedback from developers and improve APIs and tooling. This is a hands-on, community-focused role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a similar technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience in a technical role, such as software development or solutions consulting or equivalent technical experience.
• 2 years of experience working with software and data engineering concepts and frameworks.
• 1 year of experience working with AI and agentic frameworks (e.g., Model Context Protocol).

Responsibilities

• Advocate for developers and represent their voice internally to product managers and engineering teams.
• Write sample code, client libraries, and participate in developer forums and support queues.
• Collaborate with product engineering to improve APIs and features based on developer feedback.
• Develop technical content and deliver workshops to enable practitioners to adopt Google Cloud data & analytics solutions.
