Job summary
Janicki Industries is a leader in aerospace and defense manufacturing seeking a senior pricing and proposals professional to guide cost estimating, pricing models, and proposal execution. Based in Hamilton, WA, you will coordinate with Contracts, Engineering, and Operations to ensure compliant, executable bids and strong win themes.
Candidates should have a bachelor’s in a related field and 7+ years in sales, contracts, or proposal management within aerospace, with advanced Excel and ERP
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, mechanical/ aerospace/ industrial engineering, finance, or related field.
- 7+ years in sales, contracts, program management, estimating, or proposal management within aerospace/defense manufacturing.
- Proven experience leading proposal teams and managing high-value bids.
- Strong understanding of cost estimating, pricing strategy, and risk assessment.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary pricing focal point for assigned proposals.
- Review requirements with cross-functional teams to determine material, labor, and equipment needs.
- Validate SOWs, specs, and customer requirements for proposals.
- Lead proposal preparation and estimating from kickoff to submission.
