Job summary

Janicki Industries is seeking a Program Manager to oversee multiple direct reports and ensure successful execution of complex engineering and manufacturing projects across aerospace, space, defense, marine, and architecture sectors. This on-site role is based in Hamilton, WA.

You will lead cross‑functional teams, manage risk, streamline workflows, mentor project managers, and support product development and business systems optimization. Strong communication and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical or engineering‑related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of industry experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with a proactive, inquisitive, and intuitive approach to challenges.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex information into clear and concise messaging.
  • Exceptional project management abilities, demonstrated through a proven track record of successfully managing and executing projects to meet deadlines.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively and influence stakeholders at all level
  • Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment, balancing multiple priorities with efficient and effective time management.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and discretion in handling confidential information.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English, with experience presenting to executives, managing customer relations, and negotiating contracts.
  • Due to our ITAR and EAR regulations, applicants must be a US Citizen or of Legal Permanent Resident Status as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b (a) (3).
  • This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). Janicki will assist with gaining this access once employed. Special Access Program or other Government Access Requirements are mandatory for this position and requires candidate agreed to enter a Continuous Evaluation program.

Department Summary

The Program Manager oversees multiple direct reports to ensure the successful execution of project objectives across various customer accounts. This role requires expertise in company-wide procedures, standards, and expectations, with a strong focus on operational efficiency, continuous improvement, and business growth. In addition to managing project teams, the Program Manager plays a vital role in supporting and advancing product development, business systems optimization, and strategic initiatives. Detailed Wage Information
  • Salary range for this role is between $130,000 - $170,000 plus discretionary bonus, 401(k) matching, vacation, and health benefits. Employees can also receive additional pay for off shifts. The range provided is Janicki’s estimate of the base compensation for this role. Actual amount offered will be based on job‑related and non‑discriminatory factors such as experience, location, education, training, skills, and abilities
