Job summary

Janicki Industries seeks a Project Engineer Lead to guide engineering teams through complex projects in aerospace manufacturing. You will mentor engineers, drive technical excellence, and liaise with customers to define requirements and deliverables from concept through execution.

The role emphasizes ownership, risk mitigation, and collaboration across design, fabrication, and shop floor activities, with a focus on quality and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• 5+ years engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Commercial/military aerospace experience preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of engineers to execute project scopes.
• Manage engineering projects to produce technical deliverables with fixed cost and schedule constraints.
• Monitor and report project financial performance.
• Communicate with customers to establish detailed requirements and deliverables.
• Direct and participate in design reviews and work order preparation.
• Ensure materials are organized for manufacturing and monitor purchasing activities.
• Interact with shop floor to maintain project health and schedule.
