Job summary

LRO Staffing in Ottawa is seeking a Senior Advisor, People & Culture to focus on employee engagement, corporate culture and recruitment. The role reports to the VP of HR and offers a hybrid work arrangement with a competitive benefits package.

The successful candidate will bring 5+ years in HR (Recruitment, Employee Relations, HR Programs and Performance Management) and experience guiding HR committees, with knowledge of Employment Standards Act and HR best practices.

Qualifications

• Post secondary education in Human Resources or related field with an HR designation being considered an asset.
• Over five years of relevant HR experience including experience in Recruitment, Employee Relations, HR Programs and Performance Management.
• Experience supporting HR committees and driving engagement and outcomes.
• Knowledge of the Employment Standards Act together with HR best-practices.

• Provide leadership and guidance through the recruitment process; through participation and influence grounded in the guiding principles of the corporate culture
• Provide guidance to managers and employees on policies and practices to support consistent, effective people management
• Lead working groups who inform the HR function
• Play in instrumental part in HR operations, from program execution to record keeping HRIS maintenance

About the Job

This position is a full time/term position offering an annual salary of $90,000 to $110,000 with a comprehensive benefits package. They are conveniently located downtown and offer a hybrid work arrangement that will see most employees in office twice weekly with occasional exceptions.
