The Distribution Asset Management department is responsible for managing and processing applications related to electricity distribution rates, as well as applications involving mergers, acquisitions, amalgamations, and divestitures. The department also provides professional support on a wide range of technical matters and contributes to the Ontario Energy Board’s adjudicative processes by offering analysis and subject matter expertise.
Reporting to the Manager, the Senior Advisor is responsible for assessing utility business plans and proposals, including supporting data and related materials. The role involves conducting in‑depth analysis of complex information and providing expert advice on applications related to electricity distribution rates and MAADs.
The Senior Advisor independently reviews and processes the most complex rate and MAAD applications, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and alignment with regulatory requirements. In addition, the Senior Advisor provides mentorship and guidance to other team members.
