Job summary

Northland Properties Corporation (NPC) is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Manager at our Support Centre in Vancouver, BC. This hands-on finance leader will oversee AR operations, lead the AR team, and drive process improvements across Canada, the US, the UK, and Ireland.

We expect strong accounting expertise, people management skills, and a passion for operational excellence. The role balances detailed analysis with strategic decision-making in a multi-brand portfolio.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive accounting and AR experience.
• Experience leading a team in a high-volume environment.
• Post-secondary education in Accounting/Finance.
• Strong AR operations, reconciliations, and internal controls.
• Advanced Excel and ERP system proficiency.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end AR and collections processes with accuracy and compliance.
• Manage billing, cash application, reconciliations, and customer disputes.
• Monitor aging, identify high-risk accounts, and drive collections strategies.
• Lead AR team and establish service standards and accountability.
• Partner with Sales, Operations, and Finance on terms and limits.
• Support month-end and year-end closings with AR subledger reconciliations.
