Your New Role

As the Senior Accounts Payable Specialist, you’ll join a small, high-performing team and be responsible for full-cycle AP across multiple assets. Reporting to the recently hired Controller, you’ll collaborate with other accounting team members, including a fellow AP specialist and a Revenue Accountant, to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant vendor payments. This role is ideal for individuals seeking to advance into a leadership or accounting management position. You'll have exposure to key improvement projects and technology upgrades, such as Yardi Bill Pay, PAYscan, and VendorCafe, while also helping to refine accounts payable processes and best practices.

What Sets You Apart

You are a detail-oriented and solutions-driven AP professional with at least five years of experience, including two or more years in a senior or supervisory capacity. You bring strong property management knowledge, thrive in high-volume environments, and are known for your reliability and initiative. You’re technically proficient, particularly in platforms like Yardi, JD Edwards, MRI, or similar, and comfortable navigating intercompany transactions and multi-currency environments.

Whether you’re currently in a Senior AP role or looking to step up into one, your motivation, attitude, and technical acumen will set you apart. Bonus points if you're pursuing your CPA designation or have experience supporting ERP system upgrades.
