AR/AP SPECIALIST
You’ll be at the forefront of our financial operations, engaging in transaction processing, financial reporting, and systems implementation.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Cash Flow Management
- Perform daily/weekly cash flow projections and complex account reconciliations.
Transaction Processing
- Enter and issue invoices, and update accounts receivable and payable.
Journal Entries
- Book standards, accrual, and adjusting entries to ensure accurate financial recording.
Month-end/Year-end Close
- Assist in the closing process, tracking progress, and resolving complex accounting issues.
Auditor Collaboration
- Coordinate with external auditors, providing walkthroughs, supporting schedules, and addressing inquiries.
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Establish and maintain strong working relationships with finance/accounting teams globally.
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience - Up to five years in financial accounting, A/R, and A/P.
Expertise - Good understanding of Canadian Accounting Standards for Private Enterprises.
Tech Savvy - Strong computer skills, including advanced knowledge of MS Excel.
Communication - Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Detail-oriented - Attention to detail and accuracy are your strengths.
Adaptability - Experience in rapidly growing companies is an asset.
Team Player - Ability to work independently and collaboratively across diverse teams.
