Senior Accounting Clerk - Accounting operations

Main Duties

• Reconcile, analyze, and correct general ledger accounts and/or sub-ledgers
• Participate actively in month-end and fiscal year-end processes
• Support training of accounting clerks
• Assist internal teams and departments with accounting issues
• Verify, communicate, and follow-up with external customers
• Collaborate with the supervisor on projects and analysis development
• Create and update supplier databases
• Process daily payments
• Develop and update task procedures and new functions

Requirements

• Diploma of Collegial Studies in Accounting (DCS), Diploma of Vocational Studies in Accounting (DVS), or Attestation of Collegial Studies in Accounting (ACS)
• 3 to 5 years’ experience in account reconciliations and analysis, particularly in Accounts Payable
• Knowledge of Oracle and VIP systems is an asset
• Proficient in Excel and Word
• Bilingual in French and English
