Job summary

Swim Recruiting is seeking a Senior Accountant in Downtown Vancouver to own end-to-end accounting for inventory, COGS, and retail operations. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will drive monthly and quarterly closings, consolidations, intercompany reconciliations, and Canadian/US tax compliance.

You will mentor staff, improve internal controls, and streamline processes. The ideal candidate has a CPA designation (or nearing completion), 5–7 years of experience, IFRS expertise, and strong

• CPA designation is required or imminent.
• 5–7 years of progressive accounting experience with ownership of month-end close.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inventory and COGS accounting.
• Manage end-to-end month/quarter close.
• Support monthly/quarterly reporting, consolidation, intercompany reconciliations.
• Mentor staff accountants and strengthen internal controls.
