Job summary

Swim Recruiting is seeking an experienced accounting leader to oversee financial reporting and accounting operations for a growing multinational public company. You will lead a 4–5 person team, strengthen controls, and scale the finance function while partnering with senior leadership on critical business decisions.

The role reports to the Director of Finance and requires IFRS knowledge, multi-entity experience, and a track record in inventory-based environments; relocation not specified.

Qualifications

• CPA designation with 9–15 years of accounting experience.
• 3+ years in accounting leadership.
• Experience in inventory-based business with COGS reconciliations.
• Working knowledge of IFRS.
• Public company experience, ideally TSX-listed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly/quarterly closes and year-end for multi-entity operations.
• Manage IFRS financial reporting and internal controls.
• Coordinate audits and support public company reporting and tax compliance.
• Develop scalable accounting processes and lead a team of 4–5 accountants.
• Partner with senior leadership on financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
