F/LIST CANADA in Laval is seeking an experienced accounting professional to oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting, manage general ledger activities, and ensure compliance with Canadian and U.S. standards.

You will lead month-end/year-end close, manage indirect taxes, and support corporate tax reporting, coordinating with auditors in a multi-currency, international environment. Strong English skills are essential.

Formación

• 3-6 years progressive accounting and finance experience.
• Strong knowledge of Canadian and/or U.S. accounting principles and regulations.
• Working knowledge of Canadian and/or U.S. tax requirements.
• Understanding of legal and contractual concepts affecting finance and compliance.
• Advanced Excel and ERP system experience.
• Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills.
• Due to our international business environment and close collaboration with our headquarters in Austria and subsidiaries worldwide, strong English communication skills are required.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting and account reconciliations.
• Maintain oversight of general ledger accounting activities and ensure financial transactions are accurately recorded, reviewed, and booked in accordance with Canadian and/or U.S. accounting standards, company policies, and reporting requirements.
• Ensure compliance with Canadian and/or U.S. accounting standards and reporting requirements.
• Lead month-end and year-end close activities and financial analysis.
• Manage GST/HST, QST, and/or U.S. sales tax and other indirect tax compliance requirements.
• Support corporate tax reporting and coordinate with external tax advisors.
• Provide guidance on cross-border transactions and multi-entity accounting matters.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and maintain required documentation.
• Strengthen internal controls and finance processes in a multi-currency environment (USD/EUR/CAD).
