Allied Vision in Canada is seeking an experienced finance professional to manage accounting and finance functions across AP, AR, treasury and closing processes. The role requires solid multi-currency experience and ERP proficiency.

You will support intercompany billing, asset management, payroll for Canadian and US entities, and prepare financial analyses while maintaining accurate documentation. This position offers flexible hours and home office options within a collaborative global team.

Competenze

• CPA or accounting degree in finance related field.
• Minimum 3 years of accounting/finance experience.
• Proficiency in Excel Pivot tables and v-lookups.

Mansioni

• Process AP including PO matching and multi-currency payments.
• Manage AR activities including dunning and reconciliations.
• Oversee daily treasury activities and bank reconciliations.
• Assist month/quarter/year-end closing and GL entries.
• Support intercompany billing and tax compliance (GST/PST).
• Process payroll for Canada/US and assist with benefits administration.
• Prepare work instructions and ad-hoc financial analyses.

Descrizione del lavoro

• Responsibility for Accounts Payable activities, including invoice processing, purchase order matching, approval workflows, accurate coding to cost centers and G/L accounts, employee expense reports and multi-currency vendor payments
• Responsibility for Accounts Receivable activities, including customer payments, the dunning process, credit limit assessments and customer account reconciliations
• Handling of daily Treasury activities, including bank postings and the timely reconciliation of corporate credit cards and bank accounts
• Support of monthly, quarterly and annual closing processes, including general ledger entries, account reconciliations and roll-forward schedules
• Oversight of monthly intercompany billing and reconciliation, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting
• Responsibility for fixed asset management, including asset counts, as well as support for tax compliance activities, including monthly GST and PST returns for Canada and the preparation of sales and use tax data for the US
• Processing of payroll for Canadian and US entities, along with support for the administration of corporate group benefits
• Preparation and maintenance of work instructions, forms and documentation for finance processes to ensure consistent and efficient execution
• Preparation of ad-hoc financial analyses and reports, as well as support for finance-related projects and other tasks as required by the Finance Manager

Profile

• Enrolled in a CPA program and/or bachelor’s degree in finance
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance
• Intermediate/advanced knowledge of Excel (Pivot & V-lookups)
• Experience with ERP system
• Previous experience in manufacturing industry can be an asset
• A strong work ethic, attention to detail, excellent time management and organizational skills
• A team player and ability to work in a collaborative environment globally
• Experience working within multi-entity and multi-currency organization will be an asset
