F/LIST CANADA is seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our team in Laval, Canada. You will program CNC tool paths based on drawings, optimize sequences, and generate production documents for CNC operators.

The role requires WoodWOP (HOMAG) proficiency, 3-axis experience with nesting, and a good grasp of cabinetmaking processes. Applicants should be fluent in French and English, with strong reading of technical drawings.

Qualifications

• College diploma or DEP in cabinetmaking, plus CNC programming coursework or equivalent experience.
• Strong cabinetmaking and furniture manufacturing knowledge.
• Proficiency with WoodWOP (HOMAG) software.
• Experience programming 3-axis CNC machines, including nesting.
• Experience with 5-axis CNC programming is an asset.

Responsabilités

• Program CNC machine tools according to provided drawings.
• Determine optimal programming for machining sequences.

As part of our team you will...

• Program CNC machine tools according to the provided drawings
• Determine the optimal programming for the required machining sequences
• Create production documents for CNC operators
• Organize and update files and programs
• Ensure that programs comply with the requirements of the products to be machined
• Ensure the proper use of tools to optimize operations
• Verify that dimensions on technical drawings are accurate
• Propose changes to machining methods
• Verify and validate programming during production

You're a good fit if you....

• Possess a college diploma, or DEP in cabinetmaking, including courses in CNC machining programming, or any combination of education and experience deemed equivalent
• Have a strong understanding of cabinetmaking and furniture manufacturing processes
• Demonstrate proficiency with WoodWOP (HOMAG) software.
• Have experience programming 3-axis CNC machines, including nesting applications
• Have experience with 5-axis CNC programming (considered an asset)
• Possess working knowledge of AutoCAD drafting software
• Can read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints with a strong understanding of spatial concepts
• Are highly organized and methodical, with the flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and last-minute requests
• Demonstrate initiative, resourcefulness, and strong problem-solving skills
• Can perform calculations accurately and efficiently
• Are Bilingual-French/English (spoken/written) - Written and verbal communication skills in English are required, as this role involves regular communication with our head office in Austria
