Senior Account Manager – Electric Motors (F/T – Remote)

You are a highly organized individual with superior customer service skills and extensive experience in the sale of Electric Motors. You enjoy building productive, professional relationships and maintaining your client base. You are forward thinking, innovative and invent new ways to continually exceed your assigned sales targets.

Your attention to detail is second to none and your flare for anticipating our client’s and business needs are astounding. You enjoy the challenge of growing our existing client base and find innovative ways to accomplish goals.

Primary area of Sales is the Greater Vancouver area and throughout the province of British Columbia.

Primary Duties:

  1. You will establish productive, professional relationships and maintain your client base to meet your assigned sales targets.
  2. The sales focus will be primarily directed towards End Users, Distribution Partners, and OEM’s, throughout BC.
  3. Coordinate involvement of company personnel including inside sales, support and management resources, in order to meet account performance objectives and customer expectations.
  4. Proactively assess, clarify and address customer needs on an ongoing basis.
  5. Complete strategic customer account plans that meet company standards.
  6. Negotiate terms of sale within authority limits.
  7. Meet with new and existing client base to maintain and expand business relationships.
  8. Stay abreast of current products, features, industry and company standards.

What skills are required?

  1. A post-secondary degree or diploma from an Engineering discipline and/or 5 years of experience in a strategic sales environment is preferred.
  2. Experience with Electric Motors and Industrial Sales is desirable.
  3. Client-focused motivated team player possessing a strong desire to succeed.
  4. Excellent presentation skills to deliver information to clients.
  5. Client negotiation and relationship management.
  6. Analytical and issue resolution skills.
  7. Demonstrate ability to communicate both verbally and in writing.
  8. Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
  9. PC proficiency in MS Office programs, including MS Dynamics CRM.

The salary range for this role is $90,000 – $100,000.

You will report to the National Sales Manager.
