Senior Account Executive – Cross Border

Our client’s explosive growth is your opportunity to accelerate your career as one of the founding members of their Toronto office on their growing Canadian Business Development team. If you have excelled in a shipper-facing role focused on Canada domestic or cross border freight before, this position is the opportunity for you to reach new heights by leveraging our client’s existing brand name, team, and technology in the Canadian market. Cross-border shipping logistics has complexities, multiple parties, languages, and borders, so our client seeks experienced Senior Account Executives willing to go above and beyond to deliver exemplary results, service, and customer experience.

Responsibilities
  1. Prospect, acquire, and expand Mid-Market & Major clients to drive company growth, focusing on Canada cross border and domestic freight.
  2. Become an expert in all service modes, business model, customer solutions, and proprietary software.
  3. Respond to sales inquiries with strategic pricing, capacity offers, and innovative solutions.
  4. Collaborate with Client Success and Carrier Sales teams to expand accounts and support clients.
  5. Build relationships with Canada-based decision makers.
  6. Enhance your logistics sales skills through professional development.
Experience
  • 1-3+ years relevant experience in third-party logistics sales.
  • Bilingual in French is a plus but not required.
  • Experience with domestic Canada and cross-border freight.
  • Experience with modes like drayage, intermodal, LTL, cross-border.
  • Exceptional negotiation and relationship skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven results under pressure.
  • Customer obsession and a passion for sales.
