The Key Account Manager – Oncology is a field-based role focused on working with Hematologic Oncologists, Nurses, Pharmacists, and Coordinators to facilitate the use of relevant Sanofi’s therapies in Multiple Myeloma. The KAM will serve as the primary commercial contact, ensuring cross-functional resources—including Marketing, Medical, Sales, and Patient Support—are leveraged to optimize patient outcomes.
This role requires a highly motivated professional with a strong sales background in Oncology and Hematology. The ideal candidate is adept at scientific exchange, excels in building relationships, and understands the complexities of institutional environments.
Main Responsibilities:
Achieve or exceed sales targets for assigned Oncology products in the Multiple Myeloma space
Develop and execute a comprehensive territory business plan, leveraging market data and real-time insights. Ensuring continuous follow-up and update the plan in response to changing market dynamics
Identify, engage, and cultivate relationships with Hematologic Oncologists, nurses, pharmacists, and key healthcare professionals
Play a key role in enabling the understanding of the potential role of Sanofi products in the optimization of Multiple Myeloma treatment
Support institutions and key accounts at all levels by guiding formulary and budget approval processes
Educate and train healthcare teams on the clinical benefits, administration, and real-world use of Sanofi therapies
Facilitate peer-to-peer learning between community-based and academic oncologists to optimize Multiple Myeloma treatment pathways
Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive insights to inform strategy and identify new growth opportunities
Implement regional OLA (Other Learning Activity) and other learning programs
Utilize omnichannel and digital tools to enhance customer engagement and drive impactful conversations
Maintain expert knowledge of Multiple Myeloma, Sanofi therapies, and evolving treatment paradigms.
Ensure regulatory and compliance adherence across all engagements and interactions.
Complete administrative tasks, including expense reports, call reporting (CRM), and territory updates
Participate in national and regional meetings, conferences, and training programs
Travel as required (~50% of the time), including evenings and weekends as needed.
Be willing and able to travel (Nationally and Internationally) approximately >50% of the time (somewhat dependent on where successful candidate lives)
About You
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (Science, Business or related field)
5+ years of specialty pharmaceutical sales experience (Oncology or Hematology strongly preferred)
Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales objectives in a specialty pharmaceutical setting
Deep understanding of Hematology/Oncology, including treatment landscapes, patient journeys, and market access
Experience working with institutional accounts, reimbursement processes, and formulary approvals
Strong analytical, strategic, and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication with the ability to translate complex clinical information into meaningful conversations
Ability to work cross-functionally with Medical Affairs, Marketing, and Patient Support teams
Experience leveraging digital engagement tools and CRM systems to enhance HCP interactions
Ability to travel within the assigned territory, including occasional national and international travel
Ability to work independently to execute against strategic and tactical plans under tight timelines

The salary range for this position is:
$94,700.00 - $157,800.00All compensation will be determined commensurate with demonstrated experience. Employees may be eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs. Additional benefits information can be found through the LINK .
