Job summary

Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) in Edmonton, AB, is hiring a Semi Driver for our Transportation Operations team. This full-time, on-site role follows a Sunday to Thursday schedule (7:00 a.m.

– 3:30 p.m.), with responsibilities including operating a semi truck, preparing trailers, and performing basic mechanical checks. You will work closely with transportation professionals to ensure safe, efficient deliveries.

Qualifications

Have a grade 12 diploma or equivalent.
Have a Class 1 license with a minimum of 6 months experience.
Can pass an in-cab evaluation by a qualified Transportation Supervisor.

Responsibilities

Operate a semi-truck and/or body unit for rural/city deliveries and trailer spotting.
Prepare trailers for deliveries, clean interiors and fuel reefers.
Perform minor mechanical work and report equipment condition.
Conduct truck and trailer inspections and ensure safe operation.
Additional duties as required.

Job description

Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring a Semi Driver on a permanent full-time basis for our Transportation Operations team. This position requires on-site work and is based in Edmonton, Alberta.

Hours of work: Sunday to Thursday, 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

What you’ll do:

Operate a semi-truck and/or body job unit which may include rural and city deliveries, city pickups, and spotting of trailers.
Prepare trailers for deliveries including cleaning interiors and fuelling reefers.
Perform minor mechanical work on trucks, semi-trailers, and reefers when required.
Perform truck and trailer inspections and report on condition of equipment.
Other duties as required.

You will work closely with other transportation professionals and will demonstrate customer focus by ensuring deliveries are made in a safe and efficient manner.

Who you are:
