Job summary

Inter IKEA Systems B.V. in Canada welcomes a Sales Co-worker II to join our team in Burlington. You will help customers with home furnishing solutions, guide them through the store, and ensure shelves are stocked and attractive.

You will listen to needs, explain features, and promote available delivery options and in-store specials. The role requires about 6 months in a fast-paced sales or customer service setting, and you must be comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs as needed.

Qualifications

  • You have about 6-month work experience in a high-volume sales or customer service environment.
  • You can lift heavy items up to 50 lbs as part of a fast-paced environment.
  • You are a people-person who can engage customers and identify needs quickly.

Responsibilities

  • Be an IKEA Ambassador by understanding that you impact the customer experience by offering home furnishing solutions and answering questions related to customers' needs.
  • Help customers find their way around the store so they can get what they need.
  • Ensure recovered product is put away properly and that your area is stocked and visually presentable.
  • Identify customer needs by asking insightful questions and advise on best solutions for homes.
  • Stay current on in-store specials, delivery options, product features and benefits.
  • Support your team with additional duties as required.
