Responsibilities

• Maintain Self Checkout Area Standards: Keeps area clean, safe, and organized; free of debris and spills.
• Promote Walmart Programs and Initiatives: Supports programs like credit card services and protection plans when applicable.
• Support Customers at Self Checkout: Assist customers, monitor activity, and explain interventions in a friendly way; escalate issues to the Customer Service Manager when needed.
• Respond to EAS Alerts and Complete Documentation: Handle alarms per procedures and complete the Failure to Deactivate log.
• Manage Scan & Go Equipment: Return scanners to designated storage after use.
