Job summary

This role requires the associate to be 18 or older and to have completed required training to handle alcohol products. You will keep the self-checkout area clean, educate customers on using the kiosks, promote sponsor programs, monitor activity for needed help, and escalate issues

Responsibilities

• Keep the self-checkout area NC O area clean and free of fixtures, debris, and liquids.
• Educate customers on the correct and efficient use of self-service options.
• Promote sponsor programs, such as credit card service, product protection and charity initiatives.
• Observe customer activity to determine when and if assistance is needed.
• Explain quality checks and interventions while reassuring customers that these checks are normal.
• Demonstrate knowledge about responding to EAS alarms and completing the 'Failure to Deactivate' Log.
• Call the Customer Service Manager when the self-service area is low on cash or has a technical issue.
• Return Scan & Go scanners to their home after use.
