Job summary

Walmart Canada in Surrey, BC is seeking a Self-Checkout Attendant to assist customers at the self-checkout area and promote store programs. You will help customers complete transactions and keep the area clean and organized.

You will respond to EAS alarms, manage Scan & Go equipment, and support a fast-paced retail environment. A flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays is required.

• Age - 16 or older

Responsibilities

• Maintain self checkout area standards by keeping area clean and organized.
• Promote Walmart programs and initiatives when applicable.
• Assist customers at self-checkout and resolve issues, escalating to the Customer Service Manager as needed.
• Respond to EAS alarms and complete the required log.
• Manage Scan & Go equipment and ensure proper storage after use.
• Be available for a variety of shifts including evenings, weekends and holidays.
