Job summary

The Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) is seeking a Training professional to deliver and evaluate training programs across TTC groups including Transit Special Constables and Security Attendants.

You will coordinate new training standards, conduct classroom and practical instruction, and arrange materials, speakers, and prerequisites to meet program objectives. The role emphasizes inclusive service and safe practices in a large public agency.

Qualifications

• Must have a community college diploma or certification in Law Enforcement.
• Several years’ related experience in a law enforcement/security and training environment.
• Must have or be able to obtain an Ontario community college certificate in Adult Education or applicable training certifications.
• Comprehensive knowledge of law enforcement, policies and procedures; familiarity with related statutes.
• Strong instructional design and classroom delivery skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and evaluate training programs for Transit Special Constables and other TTC groups.
• Coordinate development of new training standards and departmental policies.
• Conduct classroom training, practical instruction and presentations.
• Arrange materials, venues, speakers and prerequisites for training sessions.
