Job summary

Atlantic Alarm and Sound, part of Vipond Inc. and APi Group, is seeking a Security Technician for our Dartmouth, NS office. The role involves verification, inspection, repairs and maintenance of security systems at customer sites, with on-call rotation.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years’ experience with service and installation of security products, familiarity with IP and cloud-hosted systems, and a valid provincial driver’s license. English communication skills are essential.

• Electrical installation background is a plus.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform quality work and recommend improvements to ensure that customer satisfaction is met.
• Test and commission security systems to ensure that building occupancy can be taken.
• Complete various reports and documents related to the work performed.

Role Summary:

Our Dartmouth office is looking for Security Technicians to join the team. The main duties of this role are to carry out verification's, inspections, repairs and maintenance of security systems installed at our customers' sites. On-call rotation would also be expected of the individual. In addition, the successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance of various systems.
