Job summary

Troy Life & Fire Safety Ltd. in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, is seeking an experienced Fire Alarm Service Technician to join our team at the Dartmouth branch.

You will perform maintenance, inspections, and repairs on fire alarm, extinguisher, and emergency lighting systems in Dartmouth and the surrounding area, ensuring reliability and customer satisfaction. The role requires CFAA registration, 2+ years in fire alarm work, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• CFAA registration is required.
• Two years of community college in electronics or equivalent training/experience.
• 2+ years of experience in fire alarm systems.
• Experience in inspecting fire alarm, extinguisher, and emergency lighting systems.
• Troubleshooting and service experience is an asset.
• Proficient use of computers.
• Valid driver\'s license with clean record.

Location: Dartmouth, Nova ScotiaType: In the OfficeOur Dartmouth branch is currently looking for an experienced Fire Alarm Service Technician to join their team! • Previous training/experience in fire alarm systems (2+ years)
• Experience in performing fire alarm, extinguisher, and emergency lighting inspections.
• Troubleshooting and service experience an asset
• Proficient in the use of computers
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and have a clean driving record
• Exceptional customer service skills and organizational skills
• Understand and practice applicable ULC, CSA and Canadian
• Electrical codes and standards which apply to their area
