Six Flags Entertainment Corporation's Canada"s Wonderland is hiring a security team member to help provide a safe and secure environment for guests and staff. You will enforce park rules, patrol areas, and support daily operations with a friendly, professional demeanor.

Candidates must be 18+ and may hold First Aid/CPR certification and a valid Security Guard license. Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays is required; perks include free park admission and employee

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Certification in First Aid/CPR and a valid Security Guard license is preferred.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to interact with guests and staff professionally.
• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe environment for park guests and staff.
• Maintain friendly and courteous guest service while dealing with guests and employees.
• Monitor compliance of park rules by guest and staff for safety and enjoyment.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in assigned work locations.
• Report unsafe conditions to supervision and follow safety guidelines.
• Protect park and guest assets through proactive patrolling.
• Conduct major or minor investigations as directed.
• Complete Security Incident Reports and follow-up promptly.
• Control access of associates, suppliers, vendors and visitors through entry/exit gates.
• Direct human and vehicular traffic when required.
• Learn and expand knowledge through available opportunities.

• Perform all duties in compliance with Canada's Wonderland safety guidelines and requirements and reports all unsafe or unusual conditions to supervision

• Individuals that can provide their own CSA approved steel toed black boots

• Availability that includes working flexible shifts, including evenings, on weekends, and holidays
