Job summary

Commissionaires BC is seeking a Site Supervisor for a government site in Vancouver. This full-time role operates Monday to Friday, 7am–3pm, with a pay rate of $24.81/hour. Responsibilities include patrols, access control, and acting as first responder in emergencies.

Job description

We are looking for a Site Supervisorto work Full Time at a Government site in Vancouver.

Rotation: Monday - Friday, 7am - 3pm
Payrate: $24.81/hour
Some of your responsibilities include:

• Interior and exterior patrols
• Access Control and visitor verification
• First responder in building emergencies such as evacuations and medical emergencies
• Following specific emergency and alarm response protocols.
• Maintain up-to-date Post Orders and Site Safety, Risk, and Quality Assurance assessments;
• Submit reports,time sheets, and staff evaluations as per deadlines;
• Oversee trainingand scheduling of Commissionaires;
• Leading through empowerment, and monitoring staffmorale, discipline, and progress;
• Ensure team maintainsa professionalstandard ofconduct,dress and deportment;
• Liaise with the client to ensure their instructions are carried out as per written policy;
• Contacting management in situations not covered by Post Orders.

Your Must Haves …

• Valid BC Security License
• Have lived in Canada for a minimum of 5 years due to clearance requirements
• OFA 1 certificate
• Previous supervisory experience
• Minimum 3 years security experience
• Excellent English oral and written skills
