Job summary

The Security Supervisor at Eldorado Gold Saskatchewan on the McIlvenna Bay site is a full-time role on a 14/14 rotation. The position leads day-to-day security, oversees guards, and coordinates incident response and investigations to protect personnel and assets.

With a background in security, mining or remote camp environments, you will develop policies, manage contractor performance, and ensure compliance with safety and privacy regulations while maintaining a safe, respectful working

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of experience in security or related field, with 2+ years in a supervisory role.
• Experience in industrial/mining/remote camp environments preferred.
• Experience conducting security investigations and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day security operations across the mine site and camp.
• Ensure access control and inspections in line with policies and laws.
• Oversee CCTV, alarms, and electronic access controls; address deficiencies.
• Maintain professional security presence and responsive incident management.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation measures to protect people and assets.
• Direct contracted Security Guards and manage staffing and training.
• Monitor contractor performance and ensure compliance with standards.
• Lead investigations into thefts, breaches, and other incidents; interview and document findings.
• Coordinate security responses to emergencies and evacuations.
• Collaborate with HR, H&S, and site leadership on investigations and actions.
• Develop and maintain site security policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with security requirements and audits.
• Address disturbances on camp premises with appropriate actions.
