Job summary

Commissionaires Great Lakes is seeking a Commissionaire to join our team in Ontario. This front-line role involves managing reception and access control, patrolling sites, and ensuring security and safety for clients.

The ideal candidate has an Ontario Security Guard license, First Aid/CPR, and a Vulnerable Sector Check. The position offers a full-time schedule with competitive hourly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Ontario Secondary School Diploma.
• MUST Valid Ontario Security Guard License.
• MUST Valid First Aid and CPR certificate.
• Vulnerable Sector Check must be completed and submitted prior to start date.
• Strong computer skills.
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods and complete frequent patrols.
• Ability to work alone while maintaining high level of service to the client.

Responsibilities

• Manage security reception and access control.
• Conduct internal and external patrols.
• Prevent theft, disorders, and disturbances.
• Incident management.
• Prepare site schedule and coordinate backfill coverage.
• Provide visitors/contractor escort.
• CCTV monitoring.
• Emergency First Aid response.
• Fire safety prevention.
• Building systems monitoring.
• Alarm response.
• Other duties as assigned by the Client.
