Job summary

Edon Management in Edmonton is seeking a Security Supervisor to lead our security team and ensure safe, secure environments for clients and communities we serve. You will act as the main contact for security services and drive performance and standards across our facilities.

The role offers a Wednesday to Sunday shift 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM with a wage of $21.00 per hour. You will mentor guards, respond to incidents, and liaise with clients to meet KPI and CSAT targets.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Security License.
• Minimum two years of experience in a security-related supervisory role.
• Excellent knowledge of security practices.
• Strong command of the English language (reading and writing).
• Strong customer care, communication and client management skills.
• Strong leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to lead a team of staff to accomplish objectives.
• Proficient computer skills using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Ensure facilities are secure in accordance with Edon Management’s standards and contract requirements.
• Provide leadership and training to security guards to ensure proper security of facilities, including those at new sites.
• Manage and respond to critical incidents by coordinating staff for adequate response.
• Review incident reports and investigate internal security issues as required.
• Perform hands-on security duties and provide back-up support in cases of unscheduled security guard absences.
• Liaise with clients and address security requests and issues.
• Ensure security related KPI and CSAT requirements are being met.
• Work a scheduled shift of Wednesday to Sunday, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM.
