Allied Universal is seeking a Security Shift Supervisor in Windsor, Ontario.

Job Title: Security Shift Supervisor

Location: Windsor, Ontario

Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $31.26 per hour

Shifts: Part Time

Schedule: Saturday - Sunday, 0700 - 1500

Responsibilities

• Site Surveillance & Patrol: Conduct regular patrols, monitor entry points, and coordinate security matters on-site.
• Visibility & Coverage: Maintain high visibility at designated posts and ensure security coverage in sensitive areas.
• Leadership: Lead the security team during shifts and report to the Security Coordinator or their delegate.
• Access Control: Verify identification, log visitors, and secure gates and doors.
• Communication: Maintain radio communication, report incidents, and escalate concerns promptly.
• Emergency Response: Respond to emergencies, contact services, and assist as needed.
• Incident Documentation: Keep logs, complete reports, and hand over notes.
• Site & Asset Protection: Prevent theft and vandalism, ensure property security.
• Safety Compliance: Follow safety policies and use PPE appropriately.
• General Duties: Address security risks and ensure overall safety of the site.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Minimum 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must comply with the site's clean-shave policy due to health and safety standards.
• Legally permitted to work in Canada.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Licensing as required by law, to be obtained prior to employment.
• Successful background check and drug testing.
• Valid Alberta Class 5 Driver's License.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Intermediate computer skills for wireless technology.
• Ability to handle crisis situations calmly and efficiently.
• Physical ability to work in various environments, lift up to 20 kg, climb stairs, and stand for long periods.
