Job summary

Ainsworth Inc in Mississauga is seeking a seasoned security systems technician to deliver preventative visits for access control, CCTV and intruder alarm systems in commercial environments, adhering to CANASA standards and company policy.

You will diagnose faults, coordinate with the installation team on complex projects, and maintain accurate records using Excel and Word. A valid federal Level II clearance is preferred, and a clean driving license is essential.

Qualifications

• Excellent knowledge of CCTV, Access Control, Door Entry and Intruder Alarm Systems
• Minimum 5-years’ experience working within the Electronic Security Systems industry
• Knowledge and experience of Systems Networking and IP Configuration
• Must be capable of obtaining a Federal Level II Security Clearance
• Proficiency in Excel and Word
• Staying current on the entire line of security solutions provided by Ainsworth (i.e. AMAG, Avigilon, Genetec, ICT, RS2, Salient, etc.)

• Must have excellent fault diagnosis skills, including working on more complex systems, and occasions will assist with the installation team on similar projects.

The salary range is $70,000.00 to $95,000.00 per hour. Actual salaries will vary based on factors such as education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as alignment with market data. The base salary is just one component of Ainsworth’s total compensation package, which also includes additional rewards and benefits such as short-term incentives and health insurance, among others.
