Job summary

Tilray Brands, Inc. is seeking a professional Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Avigilon CCTV systems (training available) with strong report writing and problem-solving skills.

Wage is $20.50 per hour. Shifts are 12 hours with rotations and 24-hour coverage all year, including days, nights, weekends and holidays. Applicants must hold a valid Ontario Security Guard license and a valid First Aid Certification, plus minimum 2 years of security experience

Qualifications

• Reliable transportation with a valid driver’s license
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to handle emergencies and make quick, sound decisions
• Shifts are 12 hrs with rotations and 24 hrs coverage all year; availability for various shifts, including days, nights, weekends, holidays and vacation cover

Responsibilities

• Monitor CCTV systems (Avigilon) and report suspicious activity
• Conduct regular patrols and respond to security incidents
• Write detailed reports on daily activities, incidents and observations
• Communicate effectively with team members, employees and emergency personnel
• Maintain a professional and vigilant presence at all times

Job Description

We are seeking a professional and experienced Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate must be proficient in Avigilon camera systems but can train. Possess strong report writing skills, problem solving and be able to respond effectively to incidents.
Wage: $20.50 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor CCTV systems ( Avigilon) and report any suspicious activity.
• Conduct regular patrols and respond to security incidents as directed and needed.
• Write detailed reports on daily activities, incidents and observations.
• Communiate effectively with team members, employees and emergency personnel.
• Maintain a professional and vigilant presence at all times.
• Enforce and abide by all Health and Safety, Company policies and all Security Operation Procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Valid Ontario Security Guard license
• Valid First Aid Certification
• Minimum 2 years of security experience, with a focus on CCTV monitoring.
• Reliable transportation with a valid driver’s license
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to handle emergencies and make quick sound decisions.
• Shifts are 12 hrs – rotations and 24 hrs coverage all year. Must be available to work various shifts, including days, nights, weekend days and weekend night, holidays and cover vacation shifts when required.
