Securitas Canada Limited is seeking an experienced Security Supervisor in Brampton, ON. The role focuses on leading the onsite security team, managing staffing, and ensuring adherence to post orders and client requirements.

The position requires Ontario Security Guard Licence with First Aid/CPR, and a minimum of two years of supervisory security experience. The pay rate is $23.93 per hour with a continental 12-hour shift.

Qualifications

• Ontario Security Guard Licence and First Aid/CPR certification.
• Minimum two years of supervisory experience in a security environment.
• Knowledge of applicable Ontario legislation, regulations, industry standards, and regulatory requirements affecting property protection and the delivery of security guard services.
• Proficiency with security management systems, access control, patrols, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Provide visible leadership, direction, coaching, and day-to-day support to the onsite security team, fostering accountability and consistent service delivery.
• Manage employee performance through feedback, recognition, corrective action, and development plans.
• Prepare staffing schedules, manage shift coverage, and respond to absences or operational changes.
• Review timesheets, attendance, overtime, and payroll submissions for accuracy.
• Develop and update post orders, SOPs, and site-specific training materials.
• Track monthly and quarterly security metrics and identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Maintain communication with the customer’s Security Manager and branch office regarding staffing and incidents.
• Oversee daily security operations including access control, patrols, incident response, investigations, and reporting.
