Job summary

Paladin Security Group in Toronto seeks a Security Operations Dispatch Centre Operator to oversee a state-of-the-art healthcare Control Centre. Responsibilities include monitoring CCTV and access control, making emergency announcements, handling dispatcher duties, and coordinating security staff deployment.

Ideal candidates bring at least 2 years in security/dispatch, CPR/First Aid Level C, and fluent English.

Qualifications

• CPR and First Aid Certification Level C required.
• Vulnerable Sector Check to be completed upon hire.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in security/dispatch.
• Proficient in English (oral and written).
• Diploma in Justice studies/police foundations asset.

Responsibilities

Position: Security Operations Dispatch Centre Operator

City: Toronto

Status: Full-Time

Hours: Monday-Friday 2300-0700

Pay Rate: $24.04/Hr

Internal Opening Date: November 3rd 2026

External Closing Date: November 10th 2026

Job Description:

In this key role, you will oversee a state of the art healthcare Control Centre. Your role will include the following:

Monitor and operate numerous systems including, access control, CCTV, fire and life safety

Make emergency overhead announcements

Answer Telephones and dispatch calls

Assist in tracking and deployment of security staff

Handle a variety of dispatch duties including incident call taking

Liaise with visitors, clients and staff

Manage the issuance and return of facility keys and ID/Access cards

Issue Visitor and Contractor badges

Excellent deportment, customer service and presentable – Public facing/front facing position

Working knowledge of CCTV, access control systems

Experience in a supervisory role and dispatching preferred

This site is a Government of Ontario Building.

Qualifications:

Valid CPR and First Aid Certification Level C (WSIB approved provider)

Vulnerable Sector Check - to be completed upon hire

Proficient in English (both oral and written)

Must have a minimum 2 years of experience in security/dispatch

Diploma in Justice studies/police foundations is considered an asset.

Legally authorized to work in Canada

Must be able to provide certifications in Use of Force (UOF) and Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB)

Applicants who do not possess these certifications can opt into Paladin's Use of Force (UOF)/Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB) training program prior to their onboarding training to ensure they meet the requirements of the position

Please be aware: The UOF/MOAB certification is not paid as it is a pre-employment requisite; however, Paladin will cover all the costs of the training with a 6-month commitment to the position/availability
