Job summary

Argenbright Security Europe Limited (ASEL) is seeking a Multi Skilled Security Officer to guard a world-class equestrian estate. The role combines patrols, incident response and high standards of professionalism.

You will work a 12-hour rolling pattern, with days and nights, and have access to overtime, a full uniform, and a clear career development pathway within a leading security provider.

Qualifications

• Valid UK driving licence required and capable of driving company vehicles.
• SIA licence required for site access.
• Proficient in MS Office and bespoke security systems; full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Carry out perimeter and site patrols; monitor alarms and CCTV.
• Prevent unauthorised access to buildings and perimeters.
• Coordinate with technical team to report alarm or gate issues.
• Work with department heads to protect property and assets.
• Respond promptly to incidents and emergencies on site.
• Manage site gatehouse operations and incident reports.

Your Working Pattern

We offer a structured rolling rota designed to give you predictability and a healthy work life balance:

• 12 hour shifts, covering Days (06:15 to 18:15) and Nights (18:15 to 06:15)
• 7 day shifts followed by 3 days off, then 7 night shifts followed by 4 days off
• Every third weekend off
• Relief work also available for those seeking flexible hours

What You Will Be Doing

As a Multi Skilled Security Officer, you will be at the heart of protecting people, property and assets for a major client site. Your role will be varied, hands on and genuinely valued, including:

• Carrying out internal and external site patrols, including perimeter and fire door checks
• Preventing unauthorised access to and within site perimeters and buildings
• Liaising daily with our technical team to report any alarm, CCTV or gate issues
• Working closely with departmental heads to resolve issues affecting property and assets
• Responding promptly and professionally to all incidents and emergencies onsite
• Managing site gatehouse operations
• Overseeing site keys and incident report management
• Identifying and reporting any health and safety breaches to keep everyone on site safe
• Ensuring access and egress procedures are followed in line with company policy
• Delivering excellent, courteous customer service at every interaction
• Handling sensitive data responsibly and in line with company policy and GDPR regulations

What We Are Looking For

• A full valid UK driving licence, as you will be required to drive company vehicles
• A valid SIA licence
• Confident computer literacy in Microsoft Office and bespoke systems (full training provided)
• Excellent interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
• A genuinely customer focused approach, delivered with professionalism and compassion
• The ability to stay calm and effective under pressure
• A strong team player who is equally comfortable working on their own initiative
• Flexibility to adapt to new requests beyond the core role when needed
• Previous experience in security is preferred but not essential, we welcome applicants keen to build a career in the industry
