Allied Universal is seeking a Professional Security Guard for overnight shifts in Milton, Ontario. You will patrol, monitor access, and respond to incidents to ensure a safe, secure environment for clients and employees.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with access control systems and alarm.

• Knowledge of CCTV monitoring systems.
• Valid Ontario security guard license.
• Must be eligible to work in Canada up to 40 hours per week.
• High school diploma or equivalent/GED.

Responsibilities

• Access control for the facility/area.
• Present a polished, professional, customer friendly image at all times.
• Ability to manage conflicts and incidents and to deescalate.
• Patrolling and following protocols per post orders, indoors or outdoors.
• Ensure facility safety and emergency procedures are followed.
• Undertake site specific training and follow direction from Site Supervisor.
• Demonstrate good judgment and decision-making, especially in emergencies.
• Maintain meticulous records and write accurate reports.
• Operate security room equipment including CCTV, radio, etc.
• Perform in-car/vehicle patrols.

Allied Universal is seeking Professional Security Guards in Milton , Ontario.

Job Title: Security Guard - Overnights

Job Location: Milton , ON

Pay Rate: $18.29 per hour

Shifts

• Full Time : Monday to Friday 2300-0700
• Part Time : Saturday Sunday 1900-0700

Requirement

• Familiarity with access control systems and alarm .
• Experience with report writing and note-taking.
• Knowledge of CCTV monitoring systems.
• Valid Ontario security guard license
• Must be eligible to work in Canada upto 40 hours per week.
• First Aid and CPR - Level C
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience

Specific Duties Performed And Essential Functions

• Access control for the facility/area
• Present a polished, professional, customer friendly image at all times
• Ability to manage conflicts and incidents and to deescalate
• Patrolling and following protocols as per the post orders, which may include indoor or outdoor patrols, etc.
• Ensure that the facility’s safety and emergency procedures are followed in response to fire alarms and other site Emergencies
• Undertake site specific training, follow direction and guidance from Site Supervisor or Manager
• Demonstrate good judgment, common sense and decision-making ability, particularly when required to take charge and direct others in emergencies or other incidents
• Meticulous record keeping, report writing, observation skills excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Operate/monitor security room equipment including but not limited to computers, CCTV cameras, radio, etc.
• Perform in-car/vehicle patrols
