Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an overnight Security Guard to join our Security Operations team at a shopping mall location in Winnipeg, MB. The position is full-time with a midnight to 8 AM shift and a pay rate of $16.90 per hour.

Responsibilities include controlling site access, conducting routine patrols, monitoring CCTV, checking for hazards, and logging daily activity. A Manitoba guard license and First Aid/CPR are required, along with eligibility to work 40+ hours per week.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with access control systems and alarm monitoring.
• Experience with report writing and note-taking.
• Knowledge of CCTV monitoring systems.
• Valid MB security guard license.
• Must be eligible to work in Canada over 40 hours per week.
• Valid First Aid and CPR certification.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience
• Proficient using computer

• Present a polished, professional, customer friendly image at all times.
• Ensure that the facility’s safety and emergency procedures are followed in response to fire alarms and other site emergencies.
• Undertake site specific training, follow direction and guidance from Site Supervisor or Manager.
• Demonstrate good judgment and decision-making in emergencies or incidents.
• Meticulous record keeping and report writing; strong verbal and written communication.
• Operate security room equipment; complete site required training.
• Vehicle gate and console duties.
