Allied Universal is seeking a Professional Security Guard for a casual position in Brantford, Ontario. You will be responsible for access control, patrolling, and reporting, with a focus on customer service and safety.

The role requires a valid Ontario security guard license, First Aid/CPR Level C, and the ability to work 40 hours per week. Strong communication and conflict de-escalation skills are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with access control systems and alarm.
• Minimum 1 year of patrolling experience.
• Experience with report writing and note-taking.
• Knowledge of CCTV monitoring systems.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Valid Ontario security guard license.
• Must be eligible to work in Canada up to 40 hours per week.
• Valid First Aid and CPR - Level C.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

• Access control for the facility/area.
• Present a polished, professional, customer friendly image at all times.
• Ability to manage conflicts and incidents and to deescalate.
• Patrolling and following protocols as per the post orders, which may include indoor or outdoor patrols.
• Ensure that the facility’s safety and emergency procedures are followed in response to fire alarms and other site Emergencies.
• Undertake site specific training, follow direction and guidance from Site Supervisor or Manager.
• Demonstrate good judgment, common sense and decision-making ability, particularly when required to take charge and direct others in emergencies or other incidents.
• Meticulous record keeping, report writing, observation skills excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Operate/monitor security room equipment including but not limited to computers, CCTV cameras, radio, etc.
• Perform in-car/vehicle patrols.

Job Title: Security Guard - Casual Position

Job Location: Brantford , ON

Pay Rate: $19.43 per hour

Shifts: Mon, Tue, Wed, and Thur | Monday to Wednesday 2300-0715 and (Thursdays 2245-0700 hrs till October 7th)
