Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking Professional Security Guards in Brantford, Ontario. The role is part-time with a pay rate of $20.00 per hour and night shifts on Saturdays and Sundays (6:45 pm – 7:00 am).

Required: Ontario security guard license, First Aid/CPR Level C, at least 18 years old, high school diploma or equivalent, and ability to work up to 24 hours per week. Duties include access control, patrolling, incident response, and report writing with strong customer service.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with access control systems and alarm.
• Minimum 1 year of patrolling experience.
• Experience with report writing and note-taking.
• Knowledge of CCTV monitoring systems.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Valid Ontario security guard license.
• Must be eligible to work in Canada upto 24hours per week.
• Valid First Aid and CPR - Level C.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

• Access control for the facility/area.
• Present a polished, professional, customer friendly image at all times.
• Ability to manage conflicts and incidents and to deescalate.
• Patrolling and following protocols as per the post orders, which may include indoor or outdoor patrols.
• Ensure that the facility’s safety and emergency procedures are followed in response to fire alarms and other site emergencies.
• Undertake site specific training, follow direction and guidance from Site Supervisor or Manager.
• Demonstrate good judgment and decision-making ability, particularly in emergencies.
• Meticulous record keeping and report writing.
• Operate/monitor security room equipment including CCTV, radios, etc.
• Perform in-car/vehicle patrols.
