Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Professional in Windsor, Ontario. This part-time role offers a $19.36 per hour pay rate and shifts from Sunday to Saturday, with flexible coverage.

You will perform access control, monitoring, and incident response while maintaining a professional image for visitors and staff. The position requires security credentials, clean driving record, first aid/CPR certification, and the ability to work at least 24 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with access control systems and alarm.
• Experience with report writing and note-taking.
• Knowledge of CCTV monitoring systems.
• Valid Ontario security guard license
• Valid Full (G License) and a clean drivers abstract is mandatory.
• Must be eligible to work in Canada for 24 hours per week.
• Valid First Aid and CPR certificate.
• Must be at least 25 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience

Responsibilities

• Access control for the facility/area.
• Present a polished, professional, customer friendly image at all times.
• Ability to manage conflicts and incidents and to deescalate.
• Patrolling and following protocols as per the post orders, which may include indoor or outdoor patrols, manage the movement of guests at various points throughout the property etc.
• Ensure that the facility's safety and emergency procedures are followed in response to fire alarms and other site emergencies.
• Undertake site specific training, follow direction and guidance from Site Supervisor or Manager.
• Demonstrate good judgment, common sense and decision-making ability, particularly when required to take charge and direct others in emergencies or other incidents.
• Meticulous record keeping, report writing, observation skills excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Operate/monitor security room equipment, Completion of site required training
