Qualifications

• Eligible to work in Canada up to 40 hours a week.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent work experience.
• Familiar with operating technology and wireless comms at client sites.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• First Aid and CPR.

Responsibilities

• Incident reporting: document and report incidents accurately.
• Maintain a visible security presence at the client site.
• Threat assessment and appropriate response recommendations.
• Professional email communications with team and stakeholders.
• Assist customers and staff with directions and safety questions.

Overview

We are looking for Security Guard - Full Time - Days who is tasked with providing constant surveillance, protection, and a visible security presence within the client's site. This role typically involves standing for extended periods—often for 8 hours or more during a shift.

Responsibilities

• Incident Reporting: Document and report incidents accurately, ensuring all relevant details are captured for future reference and analysis.
• Maintain a visible security presence: Staying stationed at a fixed location within the retail premises to deter theft, vandalism, or other suspicious activities.
• Threat Assessment: Evaluate situations to determine the level of risk and recommend appropriate responses.
• Professional Communication: Maintain clear and professional communication through email correspondence with team members and other stakeholders.
• Assist customers and staff: By providing directions, answering safety‑related questions, and offering assistance as needed, without disrupting the flow of operations.
• Emergency Response: Act swiftly in emergency situations, coordinating with law enforcement and emergency services as necessary.
• Documentation and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate logs of incidents, inspections, and other relevant documentation for compliance and review.
